GSE Staff & Faculty Chat Channels on Microsoft Teams
Want an easy way to chat with colleagues on different topics? Join the GSE All Staff & Faculty Team on Microsoft Teams, our collaboration platform that can keep you connected and organized in one space.
How to Join:
- Log into https://teams.microsoft.com
- Click on the "Teams" icon on the screen’s left side
- Click "Join or Create Team" in the upper right corner
- Choose "Join a Team with a Code" & enter xc9f9sl
- We recommend setting your channel notifications to "banner and feed” (learn more about managing notifications here)
Channels:
- General: For general conversation that may not fit into the specific subchannels.
- Free Food
- GSE Job Postings: For any new, regular staff job openings.
- GSE Steppers: GSE's walking club; A private subchannel on the main feed. Please email Olivia Farkas if you would like to be added!
- HR Updates & Tips
- Inclusion & Belonging
- IT Updates & Tips
- Missing Channels: Teams maxes out at 10 subchannels, so this is a space for proposing any private channels (for example, a book club).
- Music & Podcasts
- Parents Group: Formerally a private group, the Parents Group is now publicly accessible as a subchannel for any parents, prospective parents, or those with parental responsibilities.
- Pets of GSE
- Recommendations: For those seeking recommendations on different topics, including restaurants, providers, etc.

GSE's Staff & Faculty Affinity Groups are back! Spearheaded by Raquel M. Arredondo, Assistant Dean for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, the affinity groups support our school-wide DEI mission of bringing together our identities, ambitions, ideas, and commitment to create a culture of belonging.
