About Us

GSE IT is committed to providing innovative and inspiring technological solutions for the GSE community. We accomplish this through a collaborative environment intended to foster ideas to further the School and University mission. We welcome your thoughts, suggestions and feedback.

The Penn GSE IT Team is broken into 3 subteams:

Desktop Support

The Desktop Support team offers hardware and software support for faculty and staff. We handle purchasing and installation, and also manage access to various systems. We maintain labs for students to utilize statistical software. Please reach out to us for consultations or assistance.

Web & Application Development

GSE's Web Team develops web-based applications. Development is limited to applications with school-wide relevance or benefit. In addition, we offer consulting on other application development projects. To discuss the feasibility of a project, or for assistance in initiating a project discussion, please contact us.        

Academic Technology

The Academic Technology team offers instructional technology services and support for teaching, learning, conducting research, and administrative work for faculty and staff at Penn GSE.

Our services include:

  • Consulting & Research to help identify technology integration strategies and implementation. 
  • Support for a variety of products and software offered by GSE IT.
  • Training for IT services such as software, website management, and classroom technology.
  • Multimedia Services including event capture and equipment loans.
