In early 2024, Penn GSE undertook the important initiative of administering a comprehensive Climate and Culture Survey to students, staff, and faculty. This strategic endeavor aimed to establish a foundational benchmark for our new dean, providing insights into the current state of our School's culture. The survey instrument was administered and the results were analyzed by an external vendor to preserve the integrity of the data and the anonymity of Penn GSE community members. The survey sought to assess our strengths while pinpointing areas for improvement, thus facilitating informed decision-making.

By sharing the findings of this survey, we look forward to a series of strategic dialogues and collaborative efforts beginning in the Fall of 2024 to support and enable the emerging Strategic Vision and strengthen the School’s culture of inclusive excellence and belonging.
